Two others were left grappling with injuries, as the aftermath of the blast unfolded in the Gulmir Kot area. This heart-wrenching event unfolded and was reported by ARY News on a grim Saturday.

In a swift response, a spokesperson for the local police confirmed that the blast had erupted within the confines of a van situated in North Waziristan. The intricate details surrounding this grievous incident are currently under investigation, as authorities work diligently to uncover the truth.

This grim occurrence comes hot on the heels of a brutal suicide bombing that rocked Bajaur mere weeks ago. That horrific event inflicted an unfathomable toll, with at least 63 souls, including 23 innocent children, losing their lives. Over 200 individuals were left grappling with the painful aftermath of injuries. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for this shocking act, as reported by Al Jazeera.

The focal point of this bombing was an election rally staged in Bajaur, a border district of Pakistan. A suicide bomber, carrying a vest laden with explosives, targeted the platform where approximately 400 members of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) party were congregated. The attendees, eagerly anticipating the commencement of speeches, were thrown into chaos by the sudden, devastating blast.

The suicide bomber struck within the town of Khar, nestled close to the Afghan border, precisely during the JUI-F gathering. The convention had kicked off at 2 pm, and the tranquility was brutally shattered at 4:10 pm, as recounted by the officials at the scene.

He characterized the rise in terrorism as a futile endeavor by terrorists to push for negotiations. The General issued a stark ultimatum, urging the perpetrators to submit to the authority of Pakistan’s state or face imminent and complete defeat.
